Mike, a CPA, graduated from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a commission in the U.S. Army. After 5 years of active service, he settled in Raleigh with his family and studied accounting at N.C. State University. His daily duties consist of new business start-up consultations, tax preparation and planning, and consulting for QuickBooks®. Mike is a member of the AICPA and NCACPA. He is also retired from the Army National Guard and serves as the historian for the 113th Field Artillery Regiment. When Mike is not in the office working, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and watching movies.
