When are 2023 tax returns due?

Corporate (1065 or 1120) tax returns are due March 15, 2024.

  • Due to the volume of returns that need to be prepared, we encourage you to bring your information in as soon as possible so we have ample time to prepare your return to meet the initial filing deadline.

  • We definitely need your information by February 15, 2024 to make sure you meet the initial filing deadline.

  • If an extension is filed, your corporate tax return must be filed by September 16, 2024. Information is needed no later than July 15, 2024. If received after, there will be a 20% late fee added if you would like for it to be completed by the final deadline.

Individual (1040) tax returns are due April 14, 2024.

  • Due to the volume of returns that need to be prepared, we encourage you to bring your information in as soon as possible so we have ample time to prepare your return to meet the initial filing deadline.

  • We definitely need your information by March 1, 2024 to make sure you meet the filing deadline.

  • If an extension is filed, your individual tax return must be filed by October 15, 2024. Information is needed no later than July 15, 2024 if we are also completing an associated business (1065 or 1120) return or August 15, 2024 if there is not an associated business (1065 or 1120) return. If received after, there will be a 20% late fee added if you would like for it to be completed by the final deadline.

  • Business and personal tax returns to be completed at the same time.

  • Please make sure to let the admin team know you are bringing information for both tax returns in so that they can make sure your information is logged in appropriately.

  • The deadline to have your information in to get both returns completed together by the April deadline is February, 21, 2024.

Extension Payments

  • Please note that if you are extending your personal return, any income taxes owed are still due by April 15, 2024.

  • If you would like to send in an extension payment with your extension to avoid any penalties/interest, please let us know before April 8th. We usually suggest sending in a payment similar to what you paid the previous year.

  • If you would like for us to do an extension payment calculation, there is a $200 fee for estimated payment calculations for information received after March 1st and we would need the majority of your tax information submitted to do it.
